Anqelba Car Rental Technologies operates a B2B vehicle fleet rental marketplace connecting verified businesses with verified fleet providers in Ethiopia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it across our website and mobile applications.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data to operate the marketplace:

• •Address and location details you provide (city, sub-city, woreda, street).
• •Government and verification identifiers — national ID, TIN, business registration number, and license numbers.
• •Financial data — wallet balances, deposits, withdrawals, payment transactions, and bank account details.
• •Verification documents (KYC / KYB) — identity and business documents and photos you upload.
• •Device identifiers — push notification (FCM) device tokens.
• •Usage and diagnostics — app interaction and analytics data via Firebase Analytics.

3. How we use your data

• •Account management — creating and securing your account and authentication.
• •App functionality — RFQs, bidding, contracts, wallet, escrow, and payments.
• •Verification and compliance — KYC / KYB checks and legal obligations.
• •Fraud prevention — protecting the marketplace and its participants.
• •Analytics — understanding and improving how the service is used.
• •Communication — sending service, transaction, and support notifications.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the platform, including payment processors (such as Chapa and Telebirr) to process wallet transactions, and infrastructure providers (such as Firebase) for notifications and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

5. Data security

All data transmitted between our apps and servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Authentication tokens are stored in the device's encrypted secure storage. Access to personal and verification data is restricted to authorized personnel.

6. Data retention

Financial transaction records and KYC / KYB verification documents are retained for 5 years after account closure to meet Ethiopian financial, tax, and anti-fraud legal obligations. Other personal data is deleted upon account deletion, subject to these legal requirements.
